Registration for TIN (Taxpaer Identification Number) is mandatory with effect from 01st of January 2024. Any individual who attains the age of  18 years as on 01st of January 2024.

Persons who do not self-register for TIN will be registered by the Inland Revenue Department and shall be subjected to a penalty not exceeding Rs. 50,000/-
